Ideal for families with kids
The place had loads of character, really something special, with unique decor that made it feel more homey than a standard hotel. My daughter was thrilled with the breakfast where we got to play around with this fancy egg-boiling gadget, perfect 3-minute eggs, you see!
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for the quality we got, I'd say it was fair enough.

Charming decor and fantastic breakfast
I recently enjoyed a delightful two-night stay with my family, and I can't say enough about the charming, quirky decor that truly made it feel special. Our room was spacious, clean, and had fantastic coffee facilities, paired with stunning views. The breakfast options were extensive, featuring local jams and freshly made choices that energized our mornings. My only concern was the steep access, which might not suit everyone, but overall, the experience was memorable and worth it!

It was just a balanced option for a lightning trip in Lincoln with fantastic value for money. The room was clean and I was given great ideas for places to visit upon arrival. If you have large luggage, consider packing light and check the steep driveway before coming.

Located near several prominent pubs and attractions, making it easy to explore the area without needing a speeder. The self-serve continental breakfast features high-quality ingredients and offers a decent view of the garden, enhancing the morning experience.
Getting your transportation up the steep drive can be a hassle, especially if you're lugging heavy bags. Rooms are on the upper floors with no lift, which could be tricky if you’re not keen on climbing stairs. The bathroom ceiling is sloped, making it uncomfortable for taller folks like me to maneuver, and the lights stay on for a duration that might leave you fumbling in the dark if you’re not prepared.
